Below are reviews of the Marvel 1911 .22 LR Conversion Unit published in magazines. We offer these reviews in their entirety, rather than excerpted, so that you can see the context in which the comments are offered. We have nothing to hide and welcome comparisons to any and all conversions (and .22 target pistols, for that matter).

We don’t post every article that includes a Marvel Conversion Unit. Lately, we’ve seen some that have questionable value (non-reviews that offer little detailed information about the units or how one conversion compares to another) and articles that offer accuracy tests that are obviously flawed. For example, we know our Conversion Units are capable of shooting 100 rounds of cheap, foreign ammo into under two inches at 50 yards from a Ransom Rest. When a tester gets the same size groups with ten rounds of top-quality American ammo at just 25 yards, we know there’s a problem. We have to assume that it's something in the tester’s Ransom Rest technique because that was the only variable we could not quantify. (Yes, if used incorrectly, even a Ransom Rest will shoot horrible groups with the best gun and ammo.)
